The author encourages people to pray for their loved ones and to remember them in their prayers. Oftentimes during these times of sorrow, we feel so miserable that we need someone to pray with us and give us comfort and strength. That is why we seek out Jesus’ wings of protection, asking him to receive our loved ones into his glorious kingdom where there is no more suffering or death. We also thank St Anthony for his help in finding lost things – including our beloved earth-bound loved ones – so that they can be reunited with us in Heaven.
